Ninth Handicrafts and Artisanal Businesses Expo opens in Eastern Province

Under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, will inaugurate the ninth edition of the Handicrafts and Artisanal Businesses Expo 2026 today, Tuesday. The event, organized by the Asharqia Chamber, features the participation of artisans, craftswomen, productive families, and visual artists, alongside several government and private entities and charitable associations. The expo is being held at Dhahran International Exhibitions Center and will run until Friday, September 4, 2026.

Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Faraj, Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, emphasized that the Governor's patronage and the Deputy Governor's inauguration of the expo reflect their ongoing support for the chamber's activities and programs. He noted that this backing enables the chamber to continue supporting the business sector in the region and to contribute to community initiatives benefiting local residents.

He added that the expo covers a wide range of fields, including handicrafts, artisanal works, painting and decoration, cooking and food, perfumes and incense, sweets, coffee, and spices. There are also dedicated pavilions for charitable associations, development centers and committees, and relevant authorities.
