Border Guard concludes awareness campaign for World Drowning Prevention Day

The General Directorate of Border Guard concluded its awareness campaign yesterday in several regions of the Kingdom, coinciding with World Drowning Prevention Day, observed annually on July 25. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drowning and ways to prevent it.

The events included training workshops on swimming and rescue skills, educational exhibitions, safety guidance for swimmers and those engaging in marine activities, and awareness on the importance of supervising children and following safety instructions. These efforts are intended to reduce drowning incidents and promote community safety.
