Saudi Post issues commemorative stamp for World Post Day 2026

Saudi Post (SPL) has issued a commemorative postage stamp with a value of 3 riyals (SAR) to mark World Post Day 2026, which is observed annually on October 9.

The release is part of celebrations for World Post Day, which also coincides with the anniversary of the founding of the Universal Postal Union in 1874 in Bern, Switzerland. The day was officially designated at the UPU Congress held in Tokyo in 1969.

This year's stamp features the theme 'One Postal Network, Infinite Possibilities,' highlighting the strength of a unified global postal network and its role in fostering communication, delivering essential services, and opening new opportunities for individuals, businesses, and communities worldwide.

SPL regularly issues commemorative stamps to mark major national and international events, with each stamp reflecting a significant occasion, making them a popular choice among collectors around the world.
