Relative of Yemeni killed in Taif drone attack: he supported six family members

Yahya Hamid, a relative of the Yemeni resident who died after drone debris fell in Taif, said the deceased had been working in the city to support six family members living in Sanaa.

Hamid told Al Ekhbariya TV that his relative had come to Saudi Arabia to provide for his family's needs, but was killed when debris from the drone, which was launched toward the area and intercepted, struck him.

The Saudi Civil Defense announced on Thursday that a Yemeni resident was killed and a Saudi woman and a Pakistani resident were injured after debris from a drone launched by the Houthis fell in Taif following its interception and destruction.

The Civil Defense spokesperson said the debris led to the death of the Yemeni resident, while the woman and the Pakistani resident were injured, adding that the latter's condition is critical.

He added that the incident also caused material damage to several buildings and vehicles, and that the relevant authorities have begun standard procedures for such cases.
