Cardiology expert warns pregnant women of four key heart risk factors

Dr. Khaled Al-Nemer, a consultant and professor of cardiology and arterial catheterization, has warned of four major risk factors in women.

Al-Nemer stated on his X platform account that these factors in pregnant women can raise the likelihood of developing heart disease in the future.

He explained that these symptoms include preeclampsia, gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes, and preterm delivery, adding that their impact does not end with pregnancy.

The consultant emphasized that all of these are risk factors that increase the chances of future heart disease, and therefore require careful monitoring for prevention and treatment.
