EA SPORTS FC 27 launches globally September 2026 with Mbappé, Bellingham and major upgrades

Electronic Arts has announced the global launch of EA SPORTS FC™ 27 on September 25, 2026, unveiling a host of enhancements and new content, with Real Madrid stars Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham featured on the Ultimate Plus edition cover.

The new release offers players a more realistic football experience, introducing The Grounds social hub for the first time, an all-new FUT Gallery, and a completely redesigned transfer market in Career Mode, alongside comprehensive gameplay improvements.

Ultimate Plus edition features

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Ultimate Plus edition is available for a limited time until August 31, offering exclusive content such as 10,000 FC Points distributed monthly, Premium Passes for Seasons 1 to 5, the option to select a Hall of FUT player, and early access to the game starting September 18.

Cover stars: Mbappé and Bellingham

Following the announcement of Kylian Mbappé as the cover star for all three editions, Jude Bellingham joins the EA SPORTS FC series cover for the third time, celebrating the global impact of both players. Mbappé expressed his pride in sharing the cover with Bellingham, while Bellingham shared his excitement for the game's launch and the unique experience awaiting players.

Enhanced gameplay for all players

EA SPORTS FC™ 27 introduces new ways to play, including:

• The Grounds: A new social hub expanding the Clubs experience, allowing players to develop their characters and compete in three football heritage-inspired zones, led by top stars.

• Advanced transfer market in Career Mode: Enables more dynamic and realistic signings, with new negotiation tactics and player values that shift with market performance.

• All-new FUT Gallery: Lets players collect and evaluate player items from various clubs and leagues to build their dream club identity and earn rewards.

John Shepherd, Vice President and General Manager of EA SPORTS FC, stated that the new edition delivers unique experiences that deepen players' connection to football, drawing on community feedback to enhance gameplay, control, fluidity, and AI.

Pre-orders and supported platforms

Pre-orders are now open for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. EA Play subscribers receive 10-hour early access starting September 18, while EA Play Pro members get full access from day one with all Ultimate edition benefits.
