Ithra launches Winter 2026 program with diverse events in Alkhobar

The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) announced today the launch of its "Ithra Winter 2026" program, in collaboration with the Eastern Province Development Authority and the Saudi Tourism Authority, under the theme "Alkhobar: A Story Written by the Sea." The program will coincide with the opening of the Alkhobar Season on Friday, November 13, 2026, at the Alkhobar waterfront.

The center stated that this partnership reflects the combined efforts of various entities to boost cultural and tourism activity in the Eastern Province by highlighting tourist destinations and attracting visitors through a range of programs, events, and initiatives. The aim is to further enhance the region’s status as a destination that blends cultural, entertainment, and creative experiences.

Ithra explained that the program’s activities will include visual storytelling, light displays, and live artistic performances, such as boat shows and fishermen’s displays. The program will also feature poetry segments, an art show, the traditional Saudi ardha dance, and a cultural program to be held at Dhahran International Exhibitions Company (Expo) in Alkhobar.
