Mawhiba and University of New Haven Riyadh sign MoU to support gifted students

King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) and the University of New Haven Riyadh have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on developing and supporting gifted students at the secondary and university levels. The agreement aims to expand academic and enrichment opportunities in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s objectives for human capacity development and empowering national talent.

The MoU was signed by Mawhiba’s Secretary-General, Abdulaziz Al-Kuraidis, and Dr. Leo Lester, Senior Vice President of the University of New Haven–Riyadh.

The agreement paves the way for both parties to offer academic enrichment and summer programs within the Kingdom for gifted students in general and higher education, as well as to develop a special program for outstanding Mawhiba students enrolled at the University of New Haven–Riyadh.

Under the MoU, the two sides will also cooperate in providing summer and academic programs for distinguished Mawhiba students at the university’s main campus in the United States. In addition, they will develop training, professional development, and short executive education programs for Mawhiba staff, to be delivered by the University of New Haven either in Saudi Arabia or abroad.
