Breast cancer awareness campaign launched in Northern Borders

Northern Borders Region Governor Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan launched the 'Nabeek Bikhair' breast cancer awareness campaign at his office yesterday. The campaign, organized by the Hayat Breast Cancer Association, coincides with October, the global Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The launch took place during his meeting with Shuaa bint Hamdan Al-Jalaoud, Chairwoman of the Association's Board of Directors, who was accompanied by several board members.

The governor emphasized the importance of raising awareness about breast cancer, encouraging early detection, and supporting community initiatives that promote health education. He praised the association's efforts in serving beneficiaries and advancing women's roles in volunteer health work.

The chairwoman expressed her gratitude to the governor for his attention and support for the association's programs and awareness initiatives.
