Taif Camel Heritage Forum concludes with cultural showcase

Taif Governor Prince Fawwaz bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz attended the closing ceremony of the Taif Camel Heritage Forum today. The two-day event brought together specialists and enthusiasts in cultural heritage and media related to camels.

Upon his arrival at the forum venue, he was received by Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Chairman of the Saudi Camel Federation, along with several federation officials.

The governor toured the accompanying exhibition, which featured 13 sections displaying artifacts and exhibits highlighting the historical and cultural significance of camels in Saudi heritage, as well as their broader civilizational legacy. The exhibition also included media initiatives documenting the presence and development of camel culture.

He and other attendees then watched a video presentation summarizing the forum’s key sessions, topics, recommendations, and activities over the past two days.

At the end of the ceremony, the governor honored sponsors, supporters, and participants in recognition of their contributions to the forum’s success and the enrichment of its cultural and sporting programs.
