Aseer Education Department launches second 'Little Explorer' program

The second edition of the 'Little Explorer' program, organized by the Aseer Education Department as part of its summer initiatives, begins today. The program targets children aged 4 to 11, offering educational and interactive activities designed to develop their skills and broaden their knowledge through a variety of hands-on experiences.

The program features educational and recreational visits to several organizations and sites, including the Aseer Development Authority, forests and nature reserves, heritage locations, and tourist landmarks. It also includes interactive engineering activities aimed at fostering creative thinking and innovation among children.

According to the Aseer Education Department, the program aims to nurture children's curiosity and love of learning, strengthen their sense of national identity and pride in local heritage, and develop their observation, thinking, and innovation skills. Participants will also learn about the region's natural, touristic, and heritage assets, while promoting teamwork and enriching their experiences through educational and field activities that help build their personalities and skills in a safe and stimulating environment.

The program is implemented in partnership with several organizations, including the Tomorrow's Seeds for Childhood Association, Empowerment Orbits, and the Sanad Al-Amal Association for Widows and Divorced Women in Aseer. These collaborations aim to provide high-quality programs that enrich children's experiences during the summer break.
