Makkah Municipality launches 'Green Homes' contest to promote home plant arrangements

Makkah Municipality has launched the 'Green Homes' competition to encourage community members to arrange plants in their homes and promote a culture of caring for greenery, aiming to enhance the urban landscape and improve quality of life.

The municipality stated that the competition seeks to highlight outstanding home initiatives in plant arrangement, featuring three categories: best indoor plant arrangement, best arrangement in courtyards and rooftops, and best arrangement on home facades. The goal is to showcase inspiring models and encourage practices that beautify residential environments.

Participation is open through registration at the following link: https://hmm.gov.sa، or via the municipality's digital platforms. Interested participants are invited to display their creativity in plant arrangement and compete for dedicated prizes.

The municipality emphasized that the competition is part of its initiatives to raise awareness about the importance of planting and plant arrangement, and to boost community engagement in environmental initiatives. This contributes to expanding green spaces, improving the urban landscape, and enhancing quality of life in Makkah.
