Investment contracts signed to boost environmental opportunities at Al-Ahsa National Park

Deputy Governor of Al-Ahsa, Moath Al-Jaafari, attended the signing of several investment contracts at the governorate headquarters to provide services at Al-Ahsa National Park and activate environmental investment opportunities, under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Governor of Al-Ahsa.

The contracts aim to maximize the park’s natural assets, enhance the visitor experience, and support sustainable development goals in Al-Ahsa.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Director General of the Eastern Region branch of the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification, Engineer Youssef bin Suleiman Al-Badr, along with several center officials and investors. The deputy governor was briefed on the center’s efforts to develop the park and expand environmental investment opportunities, as well as on activities and programs offered to visitors by Katheeb Company.

Strengthening partnership with the private sector

The deputy governor of Al-Ahsa stated that investing in environmental sites is a key path to achieving sustainable development, highlighting the governor’s support and oversight of natural park development and the importance of private sector partnerships in improving services and visitor experiences. This aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance quality of life and develop the tourism and environmental sectors.

He added that these partnerships are an important step toward maximizing the benefits of the governorate’s environmental assets and developing its tourist destinations, further establishing Al-Ahsa National Park as a promising environmental and tourism destination. He emphasized the need for continued collaboration between government entities and the private sector to achieve development goals in Al-Ahsa, preserve natural resources, and improve quality of life.
