flynas named Middle East’s best low-cost airline for ninth year

flynas, the leading low-cost carrier in the world and the first in the Middle East, has been named Best Low-Cost Airline in the Middle East for 2026, marking the ninth consecutive year it has received the award.

flynas also advanced in the global rankings, placing among the world’s top 10 low-cost airlines at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards ceremony, held in London and attended by prominent leaders and officials from the global aviation industry.

The Skytrax World Airline Awards, launched in 1999, are among the most prestigious in the aviation sector. The results are based on rigorous and independent surveys conducted by the organization, measuring customer satisfaction through votes from millions of travelers worldwide, covering more than 70 categories across all aspects of the travel experience.

This latest recognition further strengthens flynas’ position as a leading success story in Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector and reflects the rapid progress of the Kingdom’s aviation industry, in line with Vision 2030’s goals to establish Saudi Arabia as a global hub for aviation, travel, and tourism.

In June 2026, the airline also received a four-star rating for low-cost carriers from Skytrax, making it the highest-rated low-cost airline in the Middle East. The rating followed a comprehensive audit of around 800 elements of the travel experience, including airport services, seat comfort, cabin cleanliness, food and beverage quality, and the efficiency of cabin crew and staff.

The latest Skytrax award adds to a series of international accolades achieved by flynas in 2026, including winning Best Low-Cost Airline in the Middle East at the World Travel Awards for the twelfth consecutive year, as well as the award for Best Cabin Crew for a low-cost airline in the region for 2026.
