Saudi Film Commission to participate in 2026 Venice International Film Festival

The Saudi Film Commission has announced its participation in the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, which will take place from September 2 to 12, 2026, in Venice, Italy. The commission will send an official delegation, reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s ongoing presence at major international film platforms.

During the festival, the commission will showcase the Kingdom’s production capabilities, including competitive incentives, production infrastructure, and support programs available for global productions. It will also highlight the diversity of filming locations in Saudi Arabia, strengthening the country's appeal as a destination for both local and international film projects.

This participation is part of the commission’s efforts to position Saudi Arabia as a leading international creative hub, foster global partnerships, and open new avenues for collaboration between filmmakers and international partners.
