Rafha develops 40 parks and gardens spanning 1.4 million sq m

The Northern Borders Municipality, through the Rafha Municipal Authority, is continuing efforts to enhance quality of life in the governorate by developing around 40 parks and gardens covering more than 1.4 million square meters.

The municipality’s operational plan includes a comprehensive program to improve cleanliness, maintenance, and the rehabilitation of facilities and key pathways, aiming to make these sites more attractive and to enhance the experience for residents and visitors in a safe, well-prepared environment.

Rafha’s recreational facilities feature three model walking tracks, as well as pedestrian paths and sports tracks, all set within expansive green areas that offer a variety of options for sports and leisure activities. These initiatives support the expansion of green spaces and the improvement of the urban landscape.

Fieldwork includes regular cleaning and maintenance programs, along with ongoing checks to ensure the readiness of parks, gardens, and associated facilities, guaranteeing operational efficiency and uninterrupted services amid growing visitor numbers.

The Rafha Municipal Authority has reaffirmed its commitment to continuous field monitoring, maintenance, and cleaning to improve service levels and the experience for residents and visitors.
