Jouf University secures US patent for AI biometric innovation

Jouf University has further strengthened its presence in the global innovation ecosystem by registering a new patent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in the field of artificial intelligence and biometric verification. The patent is titled "A method for palmprint recognition between different hands."

This scientific achievement highlights the excellence of the university's researchers and underscores its leading role in producing high-quality knowledge and innovative technological solutions with global impact, in line with national strategies and Saudi Arabia's initiatives in technology and artificial intelligence.

The research team behind this accomplishment includes Badr Muneef Al-Dghaifiq, Majed Abdullah Al-Ruwaili, Hisham Khalaf Al-Lahem, Mohammed Abdelhamid Al-Nasiri, Mishari Dhaifallah Al-Anzi, Amjad Faleh Al-Sarhani, Ayman Mohammed Mostafa Hassanein, and Mohammed Mohamed Ezz Eldin Ismail.
