Buraidah International Dates Carnival 2026 kicks off today

The Buraidah International Dates Carnival 2026 opens today, Thursday, and will run until September 10 at several major tourist locations, including the National Center auction square, the events tent, Al-Haet Center, Al-Nakhla Center, and King Khalid Cultural Center.

The carnival features daily auctions, a dates trading floor, luxury dates exhibitions, "Dates Perfume," "Palm Innovations," as well as heritage and art exhibitions, a children's theater, competitions and prizes. Activities also include "tourist bus" trips to heritage farms, museums and tourist routes, live performances, fireworks, a classic Toyota car parade, and exhibitions by various organizations and partners.

The event aims to boost economic and tourism activity related to dates and palm cultivation, while providing opportunities for artisans, local producers, and innovators to participate in its diverse program.
