King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz AlSaud patronized on Monday in Riyadh the honoring ceremony of the winners of theKing Khalid Prize 2019 with its three categories Development Partners,Excellence for Non-Profit Organizations, and Sustainability.

It's noteworthy that King Khalid Prizeis awarded annually to increase competition for the best developmentinitiatives and projects that record the impact of individuals, non-profitorganizations and private sector enterprises in the development of society.

Royal sponsorship given to the Prize comes within the framework of the continuous leadership support of national non-profit institutions in all regions of the Kingdom and enable them to achieve the sustainability characteristic of their current and future projects, so that they are able to face the various challenges and continue to make achievements and qualitative and development initiatives in the community.

This year's award was presented to 9winners — The Development Partners award was granted to the developers of theWateen app, which is a national platform for blood donation in the Kingdom anddr. Tamim Mohammed al-Ghannam, founder of the initiative received the award.Ehyaa initiative came second and my bike SA (Darrajati) came third for the samecategory.

As for the Excellence for Non-ProfitOrganizations, the first place was granted to the OSRATY association inMadinah. Women's Charitable Society in Jeddah came second and Zahra BreastCancer Association came third.

The Sustainability award was granted to SaudiAramco's Yanbu refinery that came first, Tata Consultancy Services came secondand Saudi International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) came third.

Now in its 11th year, the King KhalidPrize continue its good approach in building a strong economic and socialbase depending on Saudis who seek prosperity in a society with equalopportunities. The Prize turned to be a tool to increase the positive impact ofits target segments to realize the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and a source ofinspiration for excellence in the development of society, the creation ofcreative solutions, and the adoption of effective practices in socialresponsibility.
