The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché at the Kingdom's embassy in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, launched the programs of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques 'gift of luxury dates" and Ramadan Iftar (breaking fast).
On the occasion, the Secretary-General of the Senegalese Ministry of Social Affairs Collie Rachel Faisley praised the efforts being made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Islamic field and the support for Ramadan projects.
These projects strengthen the bonds of goodness and love among Muslims in the holy month, citing the Kingdom's pioneering role in serving Islam and Muslims in the world and defending their causes.
Gift of Luxurious Dates

More than 8 tons of dates arrived in here Sunday as part of the Custodian's of the Two Holy Mosques gift program of luxurious dates, which the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the Office of the Religious Adviser at the Saudi Embassy, to be distributed in Thailand, as part of the ministry's activities for the year 1442 AH.
The Saudi Chargé d'Affairs at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Bangkok, Essam Al-Jutaili, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman and the Crown Prince for their generous support for everything that serves Islam and Muslims.
For his part, the Islamic Advisor in Thailand, Dr. Yousef Bin Abdullah Al-Humoudi said that the aid will be distributed to the mosques and Islamic authorities and centers in various Thai regions, pointing out that all COVID-19 precautionary and preventive measures will be taken.
