College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in Dammam concluded yesterday the two-day training workshop for the World Robot Olympiad qualifiers.
Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Muhaidib said that the workshop comes within the keenness of the Ministry of Education and the University to participate in the World Robot Olympiad to achieve educational goals being sought by the Kingdom's ambitious Vision 2030.
He pointed out that the college has distinguished and qualified departments specialized in Artificial Intelligence that hosted the workshop with participation of a number of faculty members of a number of Saudi universities, ministries and bodies, including King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources.
