Foreign ministers of the mini-group on Syria have welcomed the inauguration of the meetings of the Syrian Constitutional Committee in Geneva on 30 October.
The group,which includes the foreign ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt,France, Germany, Jordan, the UK and the US has appreciated in a joint statementthe efforts being exerted by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and hisspecial envoy, Geir O. Pedersen, which resulted in the launching of themeeting, considering such efforts as positive steps require a great commitment.
