President Donald Trump received today, at the White House, Prince Khalid bin Salman, Deputy Minister of Defense.
During the reception, they discussed the importance of strong bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Deputy Minister of Defense also met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper and National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien.
During these meetings, they discussed recent developments in the Middle East. They also tackled on joint efforts to reduce tensions and avoid escalations. This is to avoid further destabilization in the region in light of provocations of the Iranian regime.
Prince Khalid bin Salman expressed to the American leadership his appreciation for the continued partnership for 75 years between Saudi Arabia and America.
He reiterated the Kingdom's commitment to work closely with the United States to stabilize the region.
