The Makkah branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has announced the launch of five new investment and development opportunities across several governorates, including agricultural nurseries, greenhouses, and fruit tree cultivation projects in Al-Kamil, Taif, Al-Qunfudhah, and Al-Laith.

The branch stated that this initiative aims to maximize the use of agricultural, livestock, and environmental resources, while enabling the private sector to contribute to sustainable development in the region.

Waleed bin Ibrahim Al-Dughays, Director General of the ministry’s Makkah branch, invited investors and stakeholders in the agricultural sector to review the details, requirements, and application procedures for these opportunities via the “Furas” platform, accessible by scanning the QR code provided for each opportunity.

Al-Dughays noted that the launch of these opportunities is part of the ministry’s efforts to stimulate agricultural and environmental investment, strengthen partnerships with the private sector, and enhance the efficient use of resources and assets in support of sustainable development goals in the Makkah region.
