Saudi Chemical Company launches commercial production at military industries complex and TNT line

Saudi Chemical Company Holding has announced the start of commercial production at its military industries complex and TNT production line, following the completion of operational readiness requirements. 

According to a statement on Tadawul Saudi, this included verifying the readiness of systems and equipment and ensuring the availability of raw materials. As a result, the plant began commercial production on August 31, 2026, in line with approved international military specifications and standards.

The statement noted that these developments are part of the natural progression of the project after completing trial operations and operational readiness requirements. 

The company clarified, according to the statement, that there is no material change in the project costs compared to previous announcements, as these developments fall within the approved project budget. The company expects the financial impact of commercial production to be reflected starting from the fourth quarter of 2026.
