National Center for Vegetation Development unveils four investment opportunities in Najran

The National Center for Vegetation Development and Combating Desertification has launched four investment opportunities across several national parks in the Najran region, aiming to strengthen partnerships with the private sector and promote nature-based tourism as part of efforts to achieve sustainable development goals and Saudi Vision 2030.

The center stated that these investment opportunities are designed to empower the private sector and expand its role in implementing environmentally and economically sustainable development projects. The initiative focuses on developing, protecting, and sustaining vegetation sites while enhancing the efficient use of natural resources to balance economic growth with environmental preservation.

The center noted that the available opportunities cover a range of activities, most notably camping and ecotourism, which will help develop national parks and establish them as attractive natural destinations for visitors from within the Kingdom and abroad.

Boosting the national economy and supporting local communities

The center also confirmed that the investment opportunities include both long-term and seasonal contracts to support afforestation efforts and conserve natural resources. These initiatives contribute to national economic growth and create new job opportunities for citizens, in line with the Saudi Green Initiative and Vision 2030.
