Growth in 36 industrial cities boosts Saudi non-oil sector

The number of operational factories in Saudi Arabia is expected to reach 4,938 in 2025, an 18.9% increase compared to 2024.

Industrial expert Hassan Al-Hazzaa told Al Ekhbariya TV that the expansion of factories across 36 industrial cities is helping to strengthen non-oil activities and support the Kingdom’s gross domestic product.

Al-Hazzaa added that improvements in infrastructure within these industrial cities are attracting investment and supporting the growth of Saudi Arabia’s industrial sector.
