Saudi-Jordanian business council urges stronger economic ties

The Saudi-Jordanian Business Council held its meetings in Amman, the Jordanian capital, with the aim of strengthening economic partnership between Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

The sectoral committees of the council stated that they have recommended a set of practical measures and initiatives to enhance economic and investment cooperation and to increase the volume of trade between the two countries.

The recommendations also emphasized the need to facilitate the movement of investors and businesspeople and to ease the transfer of goods between both sides, contributing to joint economic development.

Additionally, the recommendations highlighted the importance of activating the council's joint coordination office and providing the necessary staff for its operations, as well as expediting procedures that would further boost trade and investment flows between Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
