National Center for Vegetation Development unveils five sustainable investment opportunities in Tabuk

The National Center for Vegetation Development and Combating Desertification has launched five investment opportunities in several national parks in the Tabuk region. The initiative aims to strengthen partnerships with the private sector, support nature-based tourism, and contribute to the goals of sustainable development and Saudi Vision 2030.

According to the center, these investment opportunities are designed to empower the private sector and expand its role in implementing development projects with lasting environmental and economic impact. The goal is to develop, protect, and sustain vegetation sites, enhance the efficient use of natural resources, and strike a balance between economic growth and conservation. The initiative also aims to improve environmental sustainability and quality of life, create added value for local communities, and support the national economy.

The investment opportunities in Tabuk include a range of activities, most notably camping and caravan services, which will help develop national parks and establish them as attractive natural destinations for visitors from within Saudi Arabia and abroad.

The center noted that it is offering both long-term and seasonal investment opportunities to promote vegetation growth, support various tree-planting projects, conserve natural resources, contribute to national economic development, and create new job opportunities for citizens, in line with the Saudi Green Initiative and Vision 2030 targets.
