The Saudi General Food Security Authority has announced the disbursement of the second payment to local wheat farmers who delivered their allocated quantities during the 1447/1448 Hijri (2026) agricultural season, through branches of the National Grain Supply Company (SAGO). The payments were processed after farmers closed their accounts via the 'Mahsuli' electronic platform on the authority's official website.

The authority stated that a total of 197,835,538 riyals (SAR) was deposited into farmers’ bank accounts in this round, covering a net received quantity of 126,469 tons and benefiting 303 farmers.

The authority added that the total amount disbursed since the start of the season has reached 397,230,622 riyals, for a cumulative quantity of 260,740 tons, benefiting 872 farmers.

Farmers urged to close accounts before season ends

The authority also called on farmers who have not yet closed their accounts to do so promptly, to ensure the final payment can be deposited before the disbursement deadline for the current fiscal year.
