Ministry urges fridge and freezer manufacturers to obtain energy efficiency license

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has emphasized the importance of fridge and freezer manufacturers obtaining a license to use the energy efficiency label and the Gulf conformity mark.

According to a statement posted on the ministry's X account, compliance with these requirements is essential for refrigerators and freezers to enter local markets and be used in both government and non-government projects.

The ministry also noted that the necessary licenses and certificates can be obtained through the electronic services of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization.
