

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef has discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the industry and mining sectors between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Tunisia and Tajikistan on the sidelines of the 28th World Investment Conference (WIC) in Riyadh.
Alkhorayef held meetings with First Deputy Prime Minister Hokim Kholiqzoda of Tajikistan and Minister of Economy and Planning Samir Abdelhafidh of Tunisia, who also co-chairs the Saudi-Tunisian Joint Committee.
Minister Alkhorayef and first deputy prime minister of Tajikistan discussed strengthening economic ties between Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan, as well as prospects for fostering cooperation in industry and mining, with several officials attending the meeting.
Meanwhile, discussions with Tunisian minister of economy and planning focused on developing Saudi-Tunisian industrial relations, while also reviewing developments regarding the work of the two countries’ joint committee.
The 2024 edition of the WIC, which runs from November 25 to 27, brings together a select group of leaders and top investors from around the world. The conference discusses global investment trends and opportunities and aims to foster investment in various local and global sectors.
The conference also highlights Saudi Arabia’s ambitious projects under Vision 2030 and the historic economic transformation underway, reinforcing the Kingdom's position as a global investment destination.
