The Coffee Cooperative in Jazan, in collaboration with the Saudi Coffee Company, is enabling coffee farmers to benefit from modern technologies and specialized services to enhance the sustainability of coffee cultivation in the region.
As part of the initiative, the Coffee Cooperative in Jazan, in cooperation with the Saudi Coffee Company, organized an introductory tour yesterday at the Saudi Coffee Center in Al-Dayer Governorate.
Participating farmers were introduced to the center’s facilities, technical and advisory services, and advanced equipment, including machinery for drying, peeling, sorting, and packaging coffee beans, as well as a specialized laboratory dedicated to enhancing coffee quality.
At the conclusion of the tour, coffee seedlings were distributed to farmers as part of an initiative launched by the Saudi Coffee Company to empower farmers, expand coffee cultivation, and enhance the sustainability of the agricultural sector.
