Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture will launch the first Saudi Water Week in Jeddah from June 28 to July 2, 2026, bringing together policymakers, experts and private-sector representatives to discuss water security and sustainable resource management.

The event expands on previous editions of the Saudi Water Forum and is intended to serve as a national and international platform for cooperation on water-related issues.

Activities during the week will include the Arab Water Forum, the second stakeholder consultation meeting for the 11th World Water Forum 2027, more than 97 panel discussions, specialized workshops and presentations highlighting developments in Saudi Arabia’s water sector.

Officials said the event reflects the kingdom’s efforts to strengthen its role in developing water management systems at the local, regional and international levels, while promoting knowledge exchange, addressing shared challenges and exploring modern technologies in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.

The World Water Forum 2027, scheduled to take place in Riyadh, is considered the world’s largest event focused on water issues. Organizers said the consultation meeting during Saudi Water Week would serve as an important step in preparations for the global forum.
