The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman signed today a joint memorandum of understanding (MoU), with the aim of building relations of partnership and integration between the two sides in order to achieve the strategic goals of the two countries in the field of food and water security.

MAWANI Issues Circular Mandating Stowage of Container Goods Received at Saudi ports

The MoU was co-signed by Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli and Omani Minister of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources, Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al-Habsi.

The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the fields of integrated water management systems, institutional framework, operations, initiatives and projects related to the food and water security.
