At the core of these strategic plans is the human element—citizens, residents, and visitors alike—supported by projects designed to enhance infrastructure and significantly improve the quality of life.

This report highlights the most prominent features, notable events, and milestones of the year, both locally and internationally.

International Engagement and Diplomacy
On the international front, the Kingdom has strengthened its position by taking firm stances on numerous critical issues.

On Jumada Al-Awwal 9, 1446 AH, Riyadh proudly hosted the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit, which brought together leaders from Arab and Islamic countries to reaffirm the centrality of the Palestinian cause and express unwavering support for the Palestinian people in achieving their legitimate and inalienable national rights.

Adding to its diplomatic calendar, the Saudi-US Summit was held in Riyadh on Dhu al-Qi'dah 15, 1446 AH.

This pivotal meeting between His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and US President Donald J.

Trump culminated in the signing of the Strategic Economic Partnership Document between the two governments.

This was swiftly followed by the GCC-USA Summit, further cementing regional and international ties.

From Riyadh, US President Trump announced the lifting of sanctions on the Syrian Arab Republic, which was a direct result of HRH the Crown Prince's efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people, pave the way for a secure and prosperous future, and support stability and reconstruction in Syria.

Building on these efforts, and at the invitation of HRH the Crown Prince, a meeting was convened between HRH the Crown Prince, the US president, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (participating via teleconference), and Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa to discuss the future of the situation in Syria.
