The 64th Executive Council meeting of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO) took place in Rabat, Morocco on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Saudi Arabia.

Undersecretary for Mining Control at the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources Eng. Ahmed Faqih took over the presidency of the Executive Council during the meeting, which was attended by representatives of 11 Arab countries and the Arab League Secretariat General.

In a statement, AIDSMO said the meeting discussed the prominent achievements and activities undertaken by the organization. Discussions also addressed the technical meetings related to the organization’s work program, held to meet the aspirations of the Arab member states.

Moreover, the meeting discussed a platform for demands and offers for industrial and mining products, the first platform to support Arab industrial and mining products aimed at helping institutions display their products and services for free.
