Gold prices hold near weekly high in global markets

Gold prices held steady on Monday, remaining close to the one-week high reached on Friday, with spot gold trading at $4,379.74 per ounce and showing little change.

Meanwhile, US gold futures for December delivery slipped by 0.1% to $4,419.40 per ounce.

Other precious metals saw modest increases: spot silver rose 0.8% to $66.76 per ounce, platinum gained 0.2% to $1,804.33, and palladium climbed 0.7% to $1,311.65 per ounce.
