The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has announced a record increase in lending by fintech companies to industrial projects, reaching 541 million riyals (SAR) in the first half of 2026. This marks a 130% rise compared to the same period last year, when total loans amounted to 234 million riyals, as part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to provide diverse financing solutions that support the growth and stability of the Kingdom’s industrial sector.

In a statement on its X platform account, the ministry said this growth follows strategic partnerships with several leading Saudi fintech firms, including Tamyeed, Tarmeez Financial, Dinar, Forus, Yanal, Sukuk, and Lendo. The number of partnered companies increased from three in the first half of 2025 to seven in the same period this year.

These partnerships aim to address financing challenges faced by industrial enterprises by connecting them with flexible and innovative solutions that support production continuity and operational expansion. The products offered include working capital financing, invoice financing, and funding for industrial project expansion.

The ministry has also held a series of workshops for entrepreneurs and industrial investors to raise awareness of the financing solutions provided by fintech companies and how to benefit from them. It has expanded its partnerships with fintech firms to diversify financial products and increase lending to the industrial sector, in addition to sharing its factory database with solution providers to facilitate access to financial enablers tailored to industrial companies’ needs.

The Kingdom’s industrial ecosystem continues to offer a range of incentives and initiatives to support industrial investment at every stage, with a focus on diverse financing options. These efforts align with Saudi Vision 2030’s goal of maximizing the impact of industry as a key pillar in diversifying the national economy and transforming the Kingdom into a leading industrial power.
