The Riyadh Municipality began implementing engineering improvements at key intersections in the Western Sector and Southern Sector as part of efforts to develop the road network and enhance traffic flow efficiency in the capital.

The work includes the intersection of Ali bin Shaiban Street with Sufyan bin Al-Hakam Street in Al-Awali district, as well as the intersection of Ibn Majah Road with Jabal Al-Rahmah Street in Al-Sulai district.

The work aims to improve intersection performance and regulate traffic flow to enhance mobility, strengthen connectivity between local roads and main arteries in the region, support road user safety, and improve the daily commuting experience for residents.

The improvements are part of broader engineering upgrades to several intersections across Riyadh, based on solutions designed to ease congestion and enhance the efficiency of the road network within neighborhoods, in line with urban growth and the development of transport infrastructure in the capital.

The municipality continues to implement such engineering measures across the city, supporting urban development goals and improving quality of life, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and its vision to build a thriving, sustainable city that delivers high-quality services to its residents.
