Ministry of Commerce conducts over 28,000 inspections in August

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce carried out more than 28,000 inspections of commercial establishments and retail outlets across all regions of the Kingdom during August 2026.

The inspections covered central markets, gold and jewelry shops, stationery and school supply stores, electronics and electrical appliance outlets, and other retail locations.

The campaign aimed to verify the availability of goods and their alternatives, ensure price clarity through visible price tags, monitor commercial discounts, and confirm that businesses are complying with ministry regulations.

The Ministry of Commerce continues its oversight efforts to enhance compliance, curb commercial violations, protect consumer rights, and boost market reliability.
