Northern Borders digital innovation hackathon to launch in Arar on Monday

The Northern Borders Province digital innovation hackathon will begin on Monday at the Ministry of Interior Club in Arar, under the patronage of Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Northern Borders Province.

The event will bring together developers, programmers, data and artificial intelligence specialists, as well as researchers, university students, entrepreneurs, and technology companies. Participants will work to develop innovative digital solutions across three main tracks.

Hackathon tracks and objectives

The main tracks include service integration and automation, a smoother beneficiary journey, and data and artificial intelligence. Participants will go through project submission, final presentations, and evaluation stages, culminating in the announcement of the winners.

The hackathon aims to create digital solutions to address real-world challenges in the region, transforming ideas into practical prototypes that can be tested and implemented to improve public services and user experience.

Supporting digital transformation and talent development

The event is part of the Northern Borders Province’s efforts to harness innovation and digital technologies, empower national talent, and support digital transformation in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
