The Saudi Ophthalmology Society Conference 2025 – First Gulf Ophthalmology Societies Congress kicked off today in Riyadh, in the presence of Acting President of King Saud University Prof. Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Masmali, with the participation of more than 3,000 doctors, specialists, and eye care professionals from around the world.
Conference Chair and President of the Saudi Ophthalmology Society Dr. Abdulrahman Albloushi welcomed participants, noting that the event is organized by the society in collaboration with the Department of Ophthalmology at the College of Medicine of King Saud University.
He added that the conference features leading professors and doctors from hospitals and universities across the Kingdom, as well as experts from other countries.
Albloushi said that the conference serves as a leading scientific platform for exchanging expertise, discussing the latest research and developments in ophthalmology and eye surgery, and enhancing scientific and medical cooperation toward a brighter future for eye patients in the region and beyond.
The event features scientific sessions and specialized workshops to enhance knowledge and foster innovation in the field.
