Among the rare treasures housed in the library of the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran, a collection of original manuscripts stands out as one of its most valuable scholarly assets, reflecting a deep commitment to safeguarding Islamic knowledge and heritage.

The library houses approximately 54 original manuscripts, spanning more than 7,918 pages. Among them is a valuable selection of works dedicated to Quranic sciences.

These manuscripts date back to between the 8th and 13th centuries AH and vary significantly in size and length.

The smallest manuscript is just half a page, while the largest extends to 611 pages.

These efforts stem from the directives of Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance and the complex Supervisor General Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh to preserve manuscripts and ancient books contained in the library.
