OPEC+ ministers praise Saudi Arabia’s initiatives to address climate change

Participants at the 15th OPEC+ ministerial Meeting commended Saudi Arabia for "Saudi Green Initiative" and "Middle East Green Initiative"; which the Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman announced; as an important contribution toward global efforts to combat climate change.

The meeting also welcomed the Kingdom's commitment markedly to transfer knowledge and additionally share experiences as part of these initiatives.

OPEC+ markedly commended the G20 leaders' support for the Kingdom's initiative; in order to deal with climate change also by adopting the circular carbon economy initiative, as a comprehensive and balanced solution; to deal with greenhouse gas emissions.
