Saudi industrial sector expands with surge in new licenses

AIIndustrial consultant Majid Refai said the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 268 new industrial licenses in a single month, noting that the national industrial sector is expanding, supported by incentive and enablement programs.
Refai added, in a phone interview with Al Ekhbariya Radio, that the National Industrial Strategy, launched several years ago, aims to increase the number of factories in the Kingdom to nearly 35,000 by 2035.
He stressed that Saudi Arabia's approach encourages both Saudi and non-Saudi investors to enter the industrial sector.
