Oil prices drop over 6% amid geopolitical tensions

Oil prices fell by more than 6% in today's trading, pressured by geopolitical developments.

Brent crude futures declined by $6.20, or 6.4%, to $90.58 per barrel.

US West Texas Intermediate crude futures dropped by $5.80, or 6.5%, to $83.51 per barrel.
