Saudi Arabia named guest of honor at China International Fair for Investment and Trade 2026

A delegation from Saudi Arabia’s public and private sectors, led by Deputy Minister of Investment Ibrahim Al-Mubarak, has begun an official visit to the People’s Republic of China, running through September 12, 2026. The visit aims to strengthen investment relations and expand cooperation and partnerships between the two countries’ public and private sectors.

The itinerary includes a series of meetings with senior officials, business leaders, and Chinese investors to explore joint investment opportunities in sectors such as financial services, industry, communications and technology, energy, real estate and infrastructure, as well as transport and logistics. The delegation will also discuss ways to build partnerships that support knowledge and technology transfer and develop value chains, in addition to showcasing the latest developments in Saudi Arabia’s investment environment, competitive advantages, and incentives for investors as part of Saudi Vision 2030.

Saudi Arabia to participate as guest of honor at CIFIT

The visit features Saudi Arabia’s participation as guest of honor at the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), held in Xiamen from September 8 to 11, 2026. The Saudi delegation includes wide representation from both government and private sectors, reflecting the growing economic ties between Saudi Arabia and China and a shared commitment to expanding cooperation.

The Saudi pavilion at the fair will showcase government and private entities, including the Ministry of Investment, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority, General Authority for Foreign Trade, Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, National Competitiveness Center, Cultural Development Fund, Tourism Development Fund, as well as major national companies such as Saudi Aramco, ACWA Power, SABIC, and Alat.

Showcasing Saudi opportunities and strengths

The Saudi pavilion will present a comprehensive overview of the Kingdom’s national strengths, highlighting investment, commercial, and industrial opportunities and projects, as well as incentives and services for investors. The pavilion will also feature tourism experiences and promote Saudi culture through accompanying activities, alongside meetings and events bringing together officials, business leaders, and investors from both countries.
