He noted the establishment of two large model farms, mainly planted with lemon trees in Al-Ahsa, which will help double lemon production and create processing industries to turn the fruit into a wide range of products, adding value and boosting economic returns.
He added that the expo is part of the chamber’s strategic initiatives to empower the private sector and support efforts to transform the governorate into a promising investment destination and an attractive summer tourism hub. The event also aims to enhance Al-Ahsa’s agricultural and economic standing by increasing the contribution of the local agricultural sector, supporting national food security, and advancing the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
