The Holy Makkah Municipality yesterday hosted a Ministry of Municipalities and Housing local content development team to discuss initiatives aimed at boosting local content and supporting national development goals.
The meeting focused on programs that support national products and services within the municipality's projects. Participants emphasized the need for stronger collaboration between the two entities to develop sustainable work mechanisms, localize supply chains, and increase reliance on local expertise.
The municipality stated that enhancing local content is a strategic priority that contributes to improving project quality, ensuring sustainable development, and creating new investment opportunities.
This aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance economic and social sustainability, achieve self-sufficiency, and build a robust national economy based on local capabilities.
